On Sunday 20 July Prater held a family fun day in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, open to all staff and their families; it was an enjoyable afternoon and very well attended.
Regulars at the Exhibition Inn and members of the Exhibition Golf Society in Godmanchester have raised over £8,800 in 2008 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The generous people of Alconbury, Huntingdon came together to hold a fantastic fundraising day for Macmillan on 15 November 2008.

Cambridgeshire bikers Brian Collings and Jim Wall, who go by the affectionate name of Two Old Gits on Route 66, embraced a challenge of a lifetime by riding across america and raising a fantastic £2,809.25 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Thanks to the generosity of Station Cycles in Cambridge we are now able to get out and about to meet supporters in the area on our new bike, kindly branded by Algar Signcraft.
Having chosen Macmillan as charity of the year for 2007/08 Peterborough High School have raised a huge £5,600 by holding a variety of fundraising events including a fashion show, appeals day and by taking part in Big Hush.
As part of a community action project, Fenland Division Rainbows and Brownies stepped out to fundraise for Macmillan in a number of sponsored walks.
A special premiere of the romantic comedy film 27 Dresses was held at Cineword in Huntindon and raised over £2,000 for Macmillan.
