What shall I do if I have lost my special paying in slip?
Please call the Hotline on 0845 602 1490 and we will send you another in the post.
Will I get a letter acknowledging how much I have donated?
Yes, you will receive a thank you letter from us within a few weeks of receiving your sponsorship.
What is Gift Aid?
Macmillan is able to reclaim tax on donations made by participants of Walk Wonders, providing you are a UK taxpayer who has paid an amount of income or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax that Macmillan Cancer Support reclaims on my donations in the tax year.
It may sound complicated but in simple terms Macmillan can now claim back 25p of every £1 of your donation simply by getting you to fill in all the boxes on the gift aid sheet in your Walk Wonders pack!
* Gift Aid does not apply to non-UK tax payers, Isle of Man and Channel Islands residents.
Do I have to hold my walk in May?
No, if you are unable to hold your walk in May you can hold it as near to the month of May as you can.
How do I gain entry into the prize draw to win £250 worth of vouchers to spend at either Waitrose or John Lewis?
Just raise £100 or more in donations and send it to us before 31 July 2008 and you will automatically be entered into the prize draw.
I cannot get to a Lloyds TSB or Bank of Ireland, why do I have to bank my money here?
It's important that other banks are not used to bank your Walk Wonders donation as often these banks charge a processing fee. Using another bank also means that we won't be able to trace your payment back to you, that means we cannot thank you for your donation.
There are other ways you can bank your money, look in your Event Guidelines for more information.
