Cancer publications

Our Directory of information materials for people affected by cancer has details of over 1,000 leaflets, booklets, books and audiovisual materials on cancer. All of the materials listed in the directory have been produced in the UK within the last five years and are available nationwide.

The books and audiovisual materials have been reviewed by over 100 people affected by cancer. You can see these reviews in the printed directory or here on the website in the coming weeks.

We use the Flesch readability score to test booklets and leaflets and the DISCERN quality tool to assess those that discuss treatments.
