This section gives you some ideas about how to cope at work, and advice about what to do if you are thinking of giving up work, when you are affected by cancer.

You can also find out about your employment rights. If you have cancer, you are protected at work by the Disability Discrimination Act, and carers now have rights to request flexible working.
